<\/p>\nApollo Tyres has launched the Vredestein Quatrac Pro EV, Europe\u2019s first all-season tyre developed specifically for battery electric vehicles and hybrids.<\/p>\n
It says that compared with the established range of Vredestein all-season tyres, the Quatrac Pro EV delivers superior handling and stability, offers 15 per cent lower levels of rolling resistance, and delivers a quieter and more comfortable ride.<\/p>\n
It also has a lighter construction and has a lower environmental impact during production, Apollo Tyres adds.<\/p>\n

The Quatrac Pro EV is being produced at Apollo Tyres\u2019 two European production facilities, in Enschede in the Netherlands and Gy\u00f6ngy\u00f6shal\u00e1sz in Hungary.<\/p>\n
This all-new tyre will be available from next month, initially in seven sizes for 18- and 19-inch wheel rims, and with 12 additional sizes \u2013 including 17- and 20-inch options \u2013 on offer from next year.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Quatrac Pro EV is a strategically important product for us, for three key reasons,\u201d explains Daniele Lorenzetti, CTO at Apollo Tyres.<\/p>\n
\u201cFirstly, motorists are making the shift towards electrified mobility in ever greater numbers and carmakers and consumers alike are seeking tyres engineered for the specific characteristics and dynamic attributes of EVs.<\/p>\n
“Additionally, the all-season tyre segment is the fastest growing, so it makes sense that we continue to diversify the range of Vredestein products that are designed for year-round use.<\/p>\n
