{"id":32770,"date":"2022-07-27T11:28:17","date_gmt":"2022-07-27T10:28:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/?p=32770"},"modified":"2022-08-03T16:44:59","modified_gmt":"2022-08-03T15:44:59","slug":"general-tire-grabber-at3-now-available-in-van-size","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/general-tire-grabber-at3-now-available-in-van-size\/32770","title":{"rendered":"General Tire Grabber AT3 now available in van size"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>General Tire is expanding its range of tyres suitable for use in vans, campers and light commercial vehicles with the new 235 \/ 65R16C 121 \/ 119R size of the AT3 Grabber.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Continental-owned brand has dubbed the AT3 Grabber as &#8220;the first true off-road tyre available for vans&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-32772 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/pic-2-grabber-at3-with-c-identification-kopie.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"683\" height=\"455\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/pic-2-grabber-at3-with-c-identification-kopie.jpg 748w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/pic-2-grabber-at3-with-c-identification-kopie-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/pic-2-grabber-at3-with-c-identification-kopie-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The firm says the tyre is ideal for off-road and on-road work vehicles, and that the new size has been approved for speeds up to 170 km\/h and the load capacity is 1,450kg for single mounting and 1,360kg for dual mounting.<\/p>\n<p>The popular Grabber AT3 benefits from being classified under the 3PMSF mark, which makes it suitable for winter conditions as well.<\/p>\n<p>It features sturdy blocks that snap into the ground and allow the vehicle to advance, steer precisely and ensure short braking distances.<\/p>\n<p>Aggressive shoulder blocks, which reach the sidewall of the tyre, prevent damage to the sidewall. For off-road use, the deep tread grooves provide additional grip when the vehicle travels on muddy roads or slippery meadows.<\/p>\n<p>The AT3 Grabber includes TracGen and DuraGen technology.
