{"id":32691,"date":"2022-07-04T14:03:40","date_gmt":"2022-07-04T13:03:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/?p=32691"},"modified":"2022-07-18T14:06:44","modified_gmt":"2022-07-18T13:06:44","slug":"michelin-appoints-lee-hutchings-new-director-of-services-and-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/michelin-appoints-lee-hutchings-new-director-of-services-and-solutions\/32691","title":{"rendered":"Michelin appoints Lee Hutchings new director of services and solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Michelin has appointed Lee Hutchings as director of services and solutions for the UK and Ireland.<!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38598\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38598\" style=\"width: 238px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-38598 \" src=\"http:\/\/www.cvworkshop.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Michelin-Lee-Hutchings.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"238\" height=\"364\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38598\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lee Hutchings.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As well as overseeing a division that looks after some of Michelin\u2019s biggest customers and manages the tyres on more than 80,000 commercial vehicles, Hutchings will also play a key role in Michelin\u2019s growth \u201cwith and around tyres\u201d, linking in with Michelin Connected Fleet \u2013 the recently launched Fleet Management brand in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Hutchings brings a wealth of experience to the role, joining Michelin from his previous position as Head of the UK Industrial Division at Mettler Toledo.<\/p>\n<p>Before that he was with German engineering giant Siemens, working in a variety of commercial and operational positions, during a 13-year spell at the business.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on his appointment, Hutchings says: \u201cIt is a real privilege to join such an iconic business and brand as Michelin.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Clearly, they are a very well-established player in the market and it\u2019s an exciting time for the company as it forges ahead with more data-driven, digital technologies to help our customers get the most from their fleets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the long-term, we will look to sustainably expand our portfolio with the overriding goal to offer a package of solutions which deliver absolute customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our connected mobility technologies, alongside the expertise and knowledge we have within the team, can make a huge difference to the efficiency of our customers\u2019 operations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hutchings will report directly to Andrew French, Michelin\u2019s B2B Sales Director UK &amp; Ireland, who he takes over from in his new role.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Michelin has appointed Lee Hutchings as director of services and solutions for the UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":32692,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[15,1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-32691","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-michelin","category-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.5 -
