<\/p>\nBKT has fulfilled an order of 42 giant Earthmax SR 468 tyres in the 40.00 R 57 size, to SECL (South Eastern Coalfields Ltd.), a mining company owned by the Indian government’s Ministry of Coal.<\/p>\n
The first batch of six tyres made for SECL has already been shipped, while further two batches will reach the customer within a week.<\/p>\n

The Earthmax SR 468 is the 57 inch tyre \u2013 the largest ever made by BKT \u2013 manufactured at the its plant in Bhuj, India, and designed to equip rigid dump trucks operating in the most hostile conditions.<\/p>\n
This huge tyre is characterised by being particularly resistant to attacks and punctures, thanks to the all steel structure and it is therefore suitable, for rough and muddy terrain.<\/p>\n
Winning features of this tyre are the special tread design and its compound, both created to limit the heat generated. The E-4 tread depth provides extreme resistance in highly challenging conditions.<\/p>\n
