{"id":29806,"date":"2021-04-28T11:10:37","date_gmt":"2021-04-28T10:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/?p=29806"},"modified":"2021-05-18T12:39:42","modified_gmt":"2021-05-18T11:39:42","slug":"mitas-expands-hcm-tyre-range-for-all-season-use","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/mitas-expands-hcm-tyre-range-for-all-season-use\/29806","title":{"rendered":"Mitas expands HCM tyre range for all-season use"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To keep up with the increased demand for universal tyres in the municipal services and load handling equipment segments, the Mitas brand, part of the Trelleborg Group, is <!--more-->expanding its High Capacity Municipal (HCM) tyre range with the launch of the new 360\/80R28 IND size.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/hcm.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"1000\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29954\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/hcm.png 640w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/hcm-192x300.png 192w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe HCM tyres can be used on all terrains, from regular paved roads to mud and snow, as well as in a variety of applications for multipurpose on-road and off-road transport, from agricultural transport to municipal services and load handling work,\u201d says Pavel Kott, product manager.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically designed for municipal service and offering low noise levels, the tyres are suitable for a wide range of applications in all seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The steel-belted radial construction and unique tread design in the central part of the tyre, give the HCM range high durability with a long service life and good steering characteristics, even at high speeds. This tread along with the differing lug width on the tyre\u2019s shoulders, gives them exceptional traction characteristics on a variety of surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>The unique tread design also improves the self-cleaning properties of the tyre, reducing potential road-cleaning costs, as well as minimising the noise and vibration levels to improve driver comfort.<\/p>\n<p>Originally launched in the market with four sizes in 2016, the HCM line now includes a total of 16 products available for rim sizes from 16 to 42 inches.
