{"id":2731,"date":"2012-11-28T11:33:36","date_gmt":"2012-11-28T10:33:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/?p=2731"},"modified":"2012-11-28T11:34:11","modified_gmt":"2012-11-28T10:34:11","slug":"bridgestone-looks-back-on-a-successful-2012-motogp-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/bridgestone-looks-back-on-a-successful-2012-motogp-season\/2731","title":{"rendered":"Bridgestone looks back on a successful 2012 MotoGP\u2122 season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2012 MotoGP\u2122 World Championship was one of the most exciting and closely-contested campaigns in recent years in which Yamaha Factory Racing\u2019s Jorge Lorenzo emerged as the worthy champion.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This season was also a major success for Bridgestone in its fourth year as Official Tyre Supplier to MotoGP\u2122, with the Japanese tyre manufacturer receiving widespread acclaim for its 2012 specification tyres, while also reaching the milestone of 100 MotoGP\u2122 victories at the San Marino and Rimini Grand Prix in September.<\/p>\n<p>Following an intensive tyre development programme over last year\u2019s winter break, for the 2012 season Bridgestone introduced a new family of MotoGP\u2122 tyres with new developments in construction and rubber compound technology.
