The launch of the BFGoodrich Advantage and BFGoodrich Advantage SUV ranges in 2020 sees the American brand \u2013 which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year \u2013 renew its entire summer tyre line-up.<\/p>\n

Advantage<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Aimed at saloons, hatchbacks and SUVs, these two ranges cover the full spectrum of these motorists\u2019 needs.<\/p>\n

The tyres that feature in these two new ranges combine high grip on dry and wet roads with outstanding road holding, low rolling resistance, genuine travelling comfort and agile handling.<\/p>\n

Advantage SUV<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

BFGoodrich says their significantly superior performance in comparison with their previous-generation equivalents is the fruit of extensive work on both their tread band and the design of their self-locking sipes which minimise tread-block movement. These innovations combine to shorten braking distances for enhanced safety, especially on wet roads:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • BFGoodrich Advantage range \u2013 braking distances shortened by 2.4 and 1.5 metres respectively on wet roads and dry roads.<\/li>\n
  • BFGoodrich Advantage SUV range \u2013 braking distances shortened by 2.9 and 1.1 metres respectively on wet roads and dry roads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    These results have earned the two new ranges Europe\u2019s highest-available \u2018A\u2019 label-rating for wet grip.
    \nMeanwhile, the improved rigidity provided by the self-locking sipes has led to lower rolling resistance and therefore fuel consumption savings.<\/p>\n

    The new ranges are customisable, too, since customers can request BFGoodrich stickers for their tyres\u2019 sidewalls.<\/p>\n

    The BFGoodrich Advantage and BFGoodrich Advantage SUV ranges are intended exclusively for the replacement market. The former comes in a choice of 99 sizes, while 23 different sizes are available for the latter, with a further 20 sizes due to be introduced in 2021.<\/p>\n

    The two new BFGoodrich Advantage ranges are positioned in the market\u2019s intermediate segment and conceived to combine performance with an affordable price tag.<\/p>\n
