Hankook will supply the bus tyres in cooperation with Fintyre, one of the top Italian distributors of replacement tyres and part of the pan-European Fintyre Group platform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased about the new cooperation with Ferrovie del Sud-Est and providing our premium bus tyres together with Fintyre\u2019s excellent fleet services\u201d, says Carlo Citarella, MD of Hankook Tire Italia. \u201cThis is an opportunity to show the quality of our products together with Fintyre in a channel where we have not yet been very present in Italy. The AU04+ is the tyre for urban applications that provides driving safety and high mileage which can also be used on all axles.<\/p>\n<p>In the stop-and-go driving of city traffic, bus tyres must be able to withstand a heavy load and guarantee safe and efficient use at the same time. The innovative tread compound and new tyre structure guarantee high safety and make efficient and eco-friendly use in city traffic a reality. The tyre is designed for use on electric buses, as well as traditionally powered vehicles. The reinforced sidewall of the tyre protects from excessive wear as a result of frequent curb contact.
