The new GYSFlash 121.12 CNT FV has a powerful 120A output, and can be used in one of four operating modes \u2013 diagnostics, charging, showroom and tester.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-49111\" src=\"http:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/GYSFLASH-121.12-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"593\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When &#8216;engine off, ignition on&#8217; work is being undertaken on a vehicle, it is essential that a constant power supply is maintained. This will prevent loss of data and avoid the potential for costly damage to electronic control units during diagnostic work, software updates, and module reprogramming. While this work is in progress, the vehicles electronic systems are operating from the battery alone, so choosing the right battery support unit to maintain battery charge is essential.<\/p>\n<p>New connected technology from GYS means the charger can be connected to a keyboard to enter customer, vehicle or battery details; a barcode scanner to identify the battery (if it has a bar code attached), a printer to report battery charging data; and it is now able to receive software updates, and where there is a demand for changes in charging curve to meet specific vehicle manufacturer requirements.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-49110 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/GYSFLASH-121.12-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition to its advanced battery support unit capabilities, this battery charger is suitable for charging all lead acid battery types, as well as the latest generation of lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, offering advanced protection for vehicle electronics, ensuring it is safe to use over extended periods.<\/p>\n<p>Lithium batteries require a specific charging curve, and GYS has worked with lithium battery manufacturers to develop and meet this requirement.<\/p>\n<p>The GYSFlash 121.12 CNT FV is supplied with five metre heavy duty cables and connectors.
