<\/p>\nThe Nascar Whelen Euro Series finished in style with a gripping finale in Zolder, Belgium, marking the end of a thrilling 2019 season.<\/p>\n
Dutch driver Loris Hezemans was crowned the 2019 champion while Stienes Longin saw his first Elite 1 Division win in front of his home crowd.<\/p>\n

As an official partner of the Nascar Whelen Euro Series, General Tire has worked with all the teams in the series since its launch in April to deliver outstanding performance, whatever the conditions. This has helped to ensure exhilarating racing for the fans.<\/p>\n
Guy Frobisher, senior project manager at General Tires in Europe commented: \u201cWe run one tyre specification, on all four corners of the car, on every car, on every circuit. Consequently the same race tyre has to perform in the afternoon heat in Spain as well as in a chilly morning session in the UK and contend with everything in-between.<\/p>\n

This was the first year of a six year deal in which General Tire provide the teams with slick and wet versions of tyres specifically developed in the US with the demanding Nascar racing in mind.<\/p>\n
Martin Heckers, Head of General Tire Motorsport said: \u201cWe are very happy with the tyre performance in the first season as exclusive tyre supplier supporting a spectacular season which cumulated in a final nerve wracking finale in Zolder. It was incredible for us to be able to engage with tens of thousands of motorsport fans throughout the 2019 championships and specifically with our General Tire booth at seven of the races.\u201d<\/p>\n
