{"id":22127,"date":"2019-02-04T09:37:52","date_gmt":"2019-02-04T08:37:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/?p=22127"},"modified":"2019-02-06T15:14:57","modified_gmt":"2019-02-06T14:14:57","slug":"pirelli-introduces-new-2019-diablo-range","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/pirelli-introduces-new-2019-diablo-range\/22127","title":{"rendered":"Pirelli introduces new 2019 Diablo range"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pirelli has introduced its new 2019 Diablo range of tyres in compounds intended for track use to racers and motorcyclists all over the world.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The tyres will also be used by WorldSBK and National Championship riders.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22130\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/diablo-supercorsa-sc-set-isometric-414882.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"909\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/diablo-supercorsa-sc-set-isometric-414882.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/diablo-supercorsa-sc-set-isometric-414882-300x273.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/diablo-supercorsa-sc-set-isometric-414882-768x698.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The tyre maker&#8217;s goal was to increase consistent performance and, especially at the rear, \u2018mechanical resistance\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The new 2019 range includes new compounds for the Diablo Superbike slicks in the standard 200\/60 ZR 17 rear and 120\/70 ZR 17 front sizes, along with new SCX solution (Extrasoft) in 200\/65 size for the\u00a0Diablo Superbike slick.<\/p>\n<p>This uses an\u00a0extremely soft compound and was custom designed to be used during qualifiers in preparation for using the single Superpole tyre available to the riders, and possibly for the World Superbike Championship\u00a0Sprint-Race(which will be officially called the &#8220;Tissot Superpole Race&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the year, Pirelli says various SCX solutions will be developed with the aim of finding the best one which, by the end of the championship season, will become part of the compounds range available to all motorcycle riders.<\/p>\n<p>New, larger size Diablo Superbike slicks only in the combination of 200\/65 ZR17 rear in SC0 compound and 125\/70 ZR17 front in SC1 compound.<\/p>\n<p>Diablo Rain tyres with an innovative rear tread pattern and available in two different compounds depending on the operating temperature.<\/p>\n<p>New Diablo Supercorsa SC: a grooved tyre that is now in its third generation and has been completely redesigned in terms of structure, profiles, tread pattern and compounds based on a more consistent performance.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22128\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/jonathan-rea-on-the-finish-line-174482.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"564\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/jonathan-rea-on-the-finish-line-174482.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/jonathan-rea-on-the-finish-line-174482-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/jonathan-rea-on-the-finish-line-174482-768x433.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pirelli has introduced its new 2019 Diablo range of tyres in compounds intended for track use to racers and motorcyclists all over the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":104,"featured_media":22129,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1,33],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-22127","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-pirelli"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.5 -
