The magazine compared the performance of nine tyre brands across a range of handling and safety tests.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Goodyear Dunlop has been awarded a \u2018Very Recommendable\u2019 rating for its Goodyear UltraGrip 8 which scored an incredible 99.3% and Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D which scored a 98.5% overall rating in the demanding tests. In the aquaplaning tests, Auto Express declared Goodyear as \u2018head and shoulders above its rivals\u2019 with an impressive score of 100%. Similarly Dunlop\u2019s SP<\/p>\n<p>The Winter Sport 4D excelled in the snow tests, beating other premium rivals with an overall score of 99.8% and \u2018top podium position\u2019 in snow braking and maneuvering<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not just in the UK that Goodyear Dunlop excel, in recent tests by leading German magazine Auto Bild Sportscars. \u00a0and Promobil, Goodyear Dunlop were 2012\u2019s test winners replicating similar test wins in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Kate Rock, Consumer and Brand PR Manager at Goodyear Dunlop said: \u201cWe are<br \/>\nproud of the consistent top performance of Goodyear and Dunlop across the board, we take great pride in the quality of our tyres.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRegularly featuring within the top three both in the UK and Europe is a testament to the high standard of research and development that goes into our tyres, we\u2019ve graduated top of our class in wet, dry and snow this year, we look forward to even more victories in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Leading UK Motoring Magazine \u2018Auto Express\u2019 has published the results of its annual winter tyre test.
