However, Drivers will be left waiting until Saturday to discover what tyres they will be running on.<\/p>\n<p>If conditions remain dry, the teams will all be running on Yokohama\u2019s ADVAN A005 slick race tyre while if the rain does return to the Cheshire circuit, the ADVAN A006 wet tyre will be the preferred tyre choice.<\/p>\n<p>WestCoast Racing driver Daniel Lloyd is looking to extend his championship lead and edge closer to the championship.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20219 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yokohama-TCR-HR-web.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yokohama-TCR-HR-web.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yokohama-TCR-HR-web-120x80.jpg 120w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yokohama-TCR-HR-web-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yokohama-TCR-HR-web-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Going into the weekend, Lloyd leads Pyro Motorsport\u2019s Oliver Taylor by 82 points and only two races of the season remaining at Croft and Donington Park after this weekend.<br \/>\nHowever, the pressure will be on all teams and drivers this weekend as a condensed format will see qualifying and two races all occurring on Saturday rather than over two days as has been the case in all previous rounds.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting ahead of the event, Mark Evans, head of motorsport for Yokohama HPT said, \u201cThe TCR series has been a fantastic spectacle so far this year and we\u2019re expecting this weekend to continue in the same vein\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sure Daniel Lloyd will be doing all he can to extend his lead in the driver\u2019s championship while everyone else will be trying to stop him, but teams will have to look after their cars as the shortened timetable means less time to repair any damage.
