This follows a successful first season, where strong media coverage, corporate hospitality and local marketing activation helped promote the Bridgestone range of premium winter tyres and give it a higher impact at point of sale.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Starting in October 2012, Bridgestone will be a main partner at 35 World Cup Alpine Ski events in 8 European countries: Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>As in the previous season, Bridgestone will add to its sponsorship branding package on start huts, gate flags and athlete singlets with high-visibility trackside signage and local marketing programmes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis dynamic sport displays the same performance values as our products: control, balance, safety and grip. The partnership has built a clear connection between high-performance Alpine Skiing World Cup and Bridgestone winter tyres\u201d says Tomohiro Fukuda, Senior VP Sales &amp; Marketing, Bridgestone Europe.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Bridgestone continues its partnership with MotoGP, the pinnacle of world motorcycle racing.\u00a0 2012 marks Bridgestone\u2019s 11th year of involvement with the MotoGP circuit and its 4th as Official Tyre Supplier to MotoGP.<\/p>\n<p>The year has also seen another landmark: the 100th MotoGP victory on Bridgestone tyres, at the Moto Grand Prix of San Marino, Italy, on 16th September.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s MotoGP specification tyres continue Bridgestone\u2019s racing ethos of achieving maximum performance and durability over a wide range of different operating conditions.
