Schrader, the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) specialists held a conference for its European distributors, at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Antrim last week.<\/p>\n
Schrader is a world leader in TPMS technologyand has its main development and manufacturing base in Co. Antrim. The facility is capable of producing 40 milion TPMS units per annum and has sold over 200 million to date mainly on the US market.<\/p>\n
However, with the introduction of new EU Regulations, all new car models must be fitted with TPMS from November 2012 and will be compulsory on all new cars from Nov 2014. This will give rise to a major increase of sales of this product in the next few years.<\/p>\n
