Dunlop Tyres put itsnew Geomax MX12 product to the test at the recent HydroGarden Weston Beach Race and the tyre didn\u2019t disappoint, proudly taking the podium top spot at the end of the gruelling off-road event.<\/p>\n

\nBritish rider, Todd Kellett took the podium after giving a spectacular show around one of the toughest off-road events in the UK\u2019s MX Calendar. Kellett\u2019s consistency and speed throughout the gruelling three-hour race was relentless and the 20-year-old Somerset rider was untouchable in the closing stages, as he brought his machine home to take a well-earned victory.<\/p>\n
Kellett\u2019s victory was aided by the new Dunlop Geomax MX12, which has been designed for sand and mud conditions in conjunction with factory riders from the MXGP.<\/p>\n
The product has improved performance in sand and mud conditions by optimising the tyre profile and pattern, perfect for the terrains Kellett experienced at the Weston Beach Race.<\/p>\n
Other key performance criteria all culminated to give Kellett the performance he needed to succeed. These criteria include:<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 New V-Block technology to give better traction upon corner exit and an increased Contact Patch, helping braking stability<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 A new tread pattern for tough mud and sand conditions, focusing on enhancing traction and slide control<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 Progressive Cornering Block Technology providing stable cornering due to enhanced side grip and slide control<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 Optimum traction and shock absorbability thanks to its Carcass Tension Control System which creates an enlarged diameter of providing a greater footprint.<\/p>\n
