However many participants drive their cars to and from circuits like Mondello Park and Kirkistown and want top performing tyres that are also road legal. As well as this are the drivers who want race tyre performance on the road every day. Dunlop has recently introduced two tyres that cover both markets.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1622 alignleft\" title=\"Dunlop SportMaxxRace2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Dunlop-SportMaxxRace2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"342\" height=\"381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Dunlop-SportMaxxRace2.jpg 342w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Dunlop-SportMaxxRace2-269x300.jpg 269w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 342px) 100vw, 342px\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Dunlop Sport Maxx Race and the Sport Maxx RT (Racing Technology) were launched at Spain\u2019s Ascari Race track near Malaga earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>The Sport Maxx Race tyre has been specially designed to help fast road cars perform on challenging race tracks, while ensuring they are able to deliver their drivers back home without the need to change tyres. The new tyre has been developed to meet the needs of some of the latest performance cars including the Mercedes SLS and C63 AMG Black Series, Audi\u2019s TT RS and R8, the Porsche 911 GT3 and the BMW M5.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The increasing popularity of track days is creating a market for ultra-high performance track tires.
