{"id":15556,"date":"2016-10-19T10:57:05","date_gmt":"2016-10-19T09:57:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/?p=15556"},"modified":"2016-10-19T10:57:05","modified_gmt":"2016-10-19T09:57:05","slug":"itwra-to-attend-auto-trade-expo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/itwra-to-attend-auto-trade-expo\/15556","title":{"rendered":"ITWRA to attend Auto Trade EXPO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-13882\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/EXPO-logo-2017-F-300x167.jpg\" alt=\"EXPO-logo-2017-F\" width=\"300\" height=\"167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/EXPO-logo-2017-F-300x167.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/EXPO-logo-2017-F-768x427.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/EXPO-logo-2017-F.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The Irish Tyre Wholesalers and Retailers Association (ITWRA) will be at the Auto Trade EXPO, at Citywest Exhibition Centre, Dublin this weekend to discuss the ongoing issues that face the tyre industry.<\/p>\n<p>The ITWRA has been central in challenging the introduction of a full PRI for the tyre industry in Ireland, which the association says will have a serious negative effect on business.<\/p>\n<p>The ITWRA has requested a meeting with Denis Naughten, Minister of Communications, Climate Action and Environment on the introduction of a full PRI.<\/p>\n<p>The ITWRA says it will take legal action in the Irish Courts, and has instructed its solicitors, William Fry &amp; Co. to make a report to the European Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Health and safety is also on top of the agenda. The ITWRA says a logical approach to health and safety documents, staff handbooks and employment law are necessary to avoid unnecessary insurance claims.
