<\/p>\nIn a celebration of contemporary automotive engineering, Pirelli has confirmed that it will return to Salon Priv\u00e9 to sponsor the Prestige & Performance Competition on Saturday September 3rd, following the success of last year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n

The modern-day twist on a Concours d\u2019El\u00e9gance drew over 5,000 guests to the inaugural Pirelli Prestige & Performance Competition in 2015. Fans were able to experience the sights, sounds and smells of some fabulous vehicles first-hand, as the likes of the Ferrari LaFerrari took part in the Pirelli-backed event.<\/p>\n
Presented in The Great Court and paraded through Blenheim Palace\u2019s beautiful grounds, the selection of cars is firmly focused on more modern machinery, covering everything from 80\u2019s Italian exotica, through to the latest and greatest hypercars.<\/p>\n
Acting, once again, as a centrepiece to Salon Priv\u00e9\u2019s public day, the 80 outstanding cars will be judged in eight classes during the competition, with the very best crowned as winners on the day. As the celebration draws to a close, visitors get to experience the drama of these cars departing the glorious Blenheim Palace grounds.

Early entries are led by a 2016 Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster, which is set to compete in\u00a0The Wind in Your Hair class, alongside a 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante. Also confirmed for the competition is a McLaren 650S Spider, which will participate in the\u00a0Speed & Style\u00a0category.
\nVisitors are able to enter the Saturday\u2019s Prestige & Performance show on a public Blenheim Palace \u2018Park & Gardens\u2019 ticket, costing \u00a314.90. This ticket also allows guest to explore the World Heritage Site\u2019s extensive parklands and formal gardens, making the visit a great family day out.<\/p>\n
For those wanting the full Salon Priv\u00e9 experience, there is the opportunity to purchase advance tickets to include the exclusive enclosure on the South Lawn.
