{"id":13411,"date":"2016-02-02T10:41:41","date_gmt":"2016-02-02T09:41:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/?p=13411"},"modified":"2016-02-03T10:49:37","modified_gmt":"2016-02-03T09:49:37","slug":"tyresafe-celebrates-10th-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/tyresafe-celebrates-10th-anniversary\/13411","title":{"rendered":"TyreSafe celebrates 10th anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">In 2016, TyreSafe, the UK tyre safety organisation<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>will celebrate 10 years of campaigning to raise awareness of the importance of tyres safety.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-13412\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/TyreSafe-logo.png\" alt=\"TyreSafe logo\" width=\"300\" height=\"75\" \/>TyreSafe receives support from many areas of industry including most major tyre manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers, some associated equipment suppliers and a number of vehicle manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">To deliver its messages TyreSafe works closely with a wide range of commercial and government organisations such as the Highways England, RoadSafe, police forces, fire services, councils and many other bodies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Since its inception, TyreSafe\u2019s activities have helped reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured each year in a tyre related accident by 31%. In recognition of its efforts in improving road safety, TyreSafe was awarded the prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in 2009.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">TyreSafe is increasingly seen as the authority and first point of reference for tyre safety issues.
