Michelin is introducing a new version of its website www.michelinearthmover.com to showcase its tyres for earthmovers and handling equipment, and to share its knowledge with professional operators.

\"\"<\/a>Currently available in English and French, this comprehensive, detailed and interactive website will also be translated into German, Portuguese and Spanish in the near future.<\/p>\n

Dealers, users and professionals from the earthmover and handling equipment industry can find answers to their tyre-related questions on the website. In addition to presenting Michelin\u2019s complete range of handling equipment and earthmover tyres, the website introduces new functions.<\/p>\n

Tyre Selector: This tool helps users quickly find the best tyre for their vehicles and needs. In just a few clicks, they can view the technical specifications and performance features of each tyre and download detailed product sheets. This information allows them to learn about the different products before seeking the advice of a specialist.<\/p>\n

Dealer Locator: This tool allows users to easily and quickly locate and contact the dealer nearest to their workshop or site (UK from October 2012).<\/p>\n

Operating in difficult conditions, earthmover and handling equipment users and professionals are often faced with questions regarding tyre safety, maintenance and upkeep, pressure, liquid ballasting, repairs, end-of-life recovery, overheating and other dangers, as well as many other issues.<\/p>\n

Michelin\u2019s Use and Maintenance Guide is the most comprehensive guide in the earthmover industry. The 180-page document, available in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and soon German, provides users with advice and technical information on a wide range of topics. The Use and Maintenance Guide can be viewed online or downloaded free of charge. The Guide\u2019s recommendations will allow earthmover professionals to understand how choosing the right tyre can have a direct impact on their site and enable them to lower their operating costs, while improving the safety of their staff and equipment.<\/p>\n

The new website is more interactive to allow greater accessibility at all times. In the \u201cContact\u201d section, visitors can contact Michelin sales representatives and specialists directly. A mobile version of the website is being developed and will be rolled out in 2013, to allow access to the information on smartphones and tablet computers.<\/p>\n
