Dunlop is introducing AA label grades in four tyres sizes from its Sport BluResponse line.<\/p>\n

The introduction signifies the successful accomplishment of a challenge that Dunlop set for itself in 2012\u2014when it showcased its first AA concept tyres\u2014 to bring AA tyres to the market. The AA label delivers the highest grade set out by the European tyre label regulation and signifies a tyre that delivers an \u201cA\u201d in both fuel efficiency and wet grip.<\/p>\n
The \u201cA\u201d label in fuel efficiency means that the tyre\u2019s rolling resistance has been reduced compared to its predecessor. The launch of the AA tyres, which roll out today, expands on Dunlop\u2019s leadership in its commitment to labeling and signifies its constant drive towards innovation.<\/p>\n

The tyres deliver on the performance that Dunlop drivers have come to expect, providing the uncompromising handling that the Sports BluResponse line is known for with additional wet grip and rolling resistance features worthy of the AA label.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u201cDunlop released the first AA tyres the first day of voluntary implementation of the labeling rules in 2012, and we continue to be committed to highly labelled tyres. However, we continue to ask the European Union for more enforcement. We feel that today\u2019s label is an excellent approach to better informing consumers of the tyre\u2019s benefits, but at the same time, we should remind ourselves that the label only takes into account three criteria, while our own product development team looks at over 50 to ensure we can deliver a safe, solid and high-quality product to market,\u201d said Alexis Bortoluzzi, Brand & Strategy Director EMEA.<\/p>\n
