<\/p>\nTyre manufacturer Hankook is supplying the original fitment tyres for the Audi TT and TTS models.<\/p>\n
The completely redesigned sports cars from the premium car manufacturer in Ingolstadt will be fitted with the high-performance Hankook tyre Ventus S1 evo\u00b2 in sizes 225\/50R17, 245\/45R17 or 245\/35R19 as standard or optional equipment, depending on the engine version. <\/p>\n

The Hankook Ventus S1 evo\u00b2 is manufactured in Europe and demonstrates optimum performance even under demanding conditions with its successful combination of precise handling, outstanding braking ability and high directional stability. The use of high tensile yet extremely lightweight steel cord material, which is also used for Hankook racing tyres in the DTM for example, means the Ventus S1 evo\u00b2 still enables highly dynamic driving even under permanently challenging conditions. The development of the Ventus S1 evo\u00b2 took the ever more important environmental aspects into account, resulting in a significantly reduced rolling resistance and low rolling noise.<\/p>\n
The Hankook Ventus S1 evo\u00b2 is proof of the successful combination of dynamics and comfort, wet grip and low rolling resistance even under demanding conditions. \u201cDuring the intensive test phase, our tyre once more successfully proved its high degree of characteristic dynamic driving properties,\u201d explains Klaus Krause, head of the European Technology Centre (ETC), where Hankook coordinates the tyre development for Audi AG vehicles. \u201cWith the Ventus S1 evo\u00b2 we have implemented our Kontrol Technology* philosophy and developed a modern high-performance tyre which is customised to the requirements of our customers in terms of dynamic driving, safety, eco-friendliness and comfort.\u201d<\/p>\n
There are currently 50 engineers and technicians working at Hankook\u2019s European development center in Hanover, Germany on tailor-made tyre solutions for European car manufacturers. It is here that the Audi tyres are developed and tested. The tyres for the new Audi TT and TTS models are manufactured at the company\u2019s European high-tech production facility in R\u00e1calm\u00e1s, Hungary. The ultra-modern factory, located some 60 km south of the capital Budapest, specializes in the production of passenger car and SUV tyres for the European market and is one of the most modern production facilities in the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
