Webfleet adds six Volkswagen Group brands to OEM.connect programme

Fleet operators can now connect vehicles from six Volkswagen Group brands directly to Webfleet OEM.connect, thanks to a new partnership between Bridgestone’s fleet management solution and Volkswagen Group Info Services AG.

This enables fleets running Volkswagen passenger cars, Volkswagen commercial vehicles, Skoda, Seat, Cupra and Audi vehicles to access Webfleet services without installing aftermarket hardware.

Eligible vehicles with factory-fitted connectivity are activated using the vehicle identification number (VIN). From there, Webfleet services are available within minutes.

This simplifies onboarding and provides fleet operators with fast, easy and secure access to vehicle data. These data insights help businesses improve operational efficiency, reduce operating costs and support safe and sustainable driving.

The solution also supports mixed fleets. Whether a business runs with models from a single brand or a combination from different manufacturers, everything is visible and manageable in one place: inside the Webfleet platform or through the Webfleet mobile app.

With OEM.connect, fleets using Volkswagen Group vehicles can benefit from a range of Webfleet features, including:

  • Monitoring fuel level to keep operating costs under control
  • Tracking EV battery levels to keep electric vehicles running smoothly
  • Improving fleet performance with deeper visibility and reporting
  • Reducing downtime through proactive vehicle‑health notifications
