Two Goodyear employees killed in Nürburgring crash
Two Goodyear employees were killed on Wednesday (9th August) following a crash that occurred at the Nürburgring in Germany.
According to Munich paper Merkur, the two men, aged 39 and 44, were Luxembourg-based Goodyear employees who were performing a tyre test in a Porsche on Wednesday morning.
“We are deeply saddened that two Luxembourg-based Goodyear employees died in a car accident on a test track in Germany on August 9,” Goodyear GmBH said in a statement to Merkur. “We are supporting the local authorities in the investigation.”
