Triangle Tyre-branded high-speed trains enter service

Triangle Tyre, represented in Ireland by Euro Tyre Sales, has launched a comprehensive branding campaign with China’s high-speed rail network.

A total of 64 sets of Triangle Tyre-branded high-speed rail trains have gone into service along the country’s core transportation arteries, covering routes such as the Beijing-Shanghai Line, Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Line, Xian-Kunming Line, and Chengdu-Guiyang Line.

Triangle Tyre branding features prominently on the exterior and interior of the high-speed train carriages. The manufacturer is also the first tyre company to have its name featured on the Fuxing trains operating on the Beijing-Shanghai line.

Through this campaign, the brand says it is “embedding the name ‘Triangle Tyre’ into passengers’ minds alongside the sights and sounds of high-speed rail”, while leveraging the “massive passenger flow and extensive coverage of high-speed rail media to showcase its corporate strength and product advantages through various media formats”.

Triangle Tyre was a key participant in China’s high-speed rail construction, having long provided engineering and industrial tyre solutions for the network’s construction equipment.

In 2018, Triangle Tyre exclusively developed tyres for the 1,000-tonne tunnel beam-launching vehicle for China Railway Science and Technology Industry Machinery Research and Design Institute, setting a new record in China’s high-speed rail history.
