Triangle launches new OTR catalogue

This year sees Triangle Tyre Company launch its new 2014 Off-The-Road product catalogue. Triangle Tyre Company has been distributing earthmover tyres throughout the Irish & European markets for over ten years. Despite the economic downturn experienced by the construction industry since 2008, Triangle Off-The-Road tyres have enjoyed continued growth in their sales throughout Ireland & Europe.

Triangle Container Fork LiftTriangle tyres are now becoming original equipment on brand names such as Caterpillar, Terex and Doosan Moxy and to date are producing good results. Customers are now realising that Triangle tyres are giving a good cost per hour performance and that the availability of tyres is not a problem.

Unlike some other Chinese brands, Triangle is in the earthmover business for the long haul. This is why in 2013, Triangle appointed John Ruddy to the European Market who is a specialist in the area of Off-The-Road tyres.

John, who is based in Ireland, has been given the task to support both Triangle’s original equipment and replacement business in the Irish and European market place. John brings a wealth of experience to the role of promoting and selling Triangle Off-The-Road tyres having worked for one of the top three tyre manufactures in a similar role in the past. Triangle is very interested in receiving feedback from its customers in order to help them to consistently produce the best possible tyre for each application.

John says; “We are now entering a new era in earthmover tyre sales. It would be nice to have a crystal ball to predict where this new economic situation that we find ourselves in will bring our industry over the next couple of years. We nearly hesitate to say that there has been good growth in the demand for Triangle OTR tyres over the last twelve months, just in case things start going backwards once again.”

John goes on to point out that “there is strong economic growth in countries such as Brazil, Russia, India and China which is driving demand at present. Our customers have come to realise that forward planning and good tyre management are essential in order to get the most from their tyres.”

Triangle’s TB516 L3 pattern is superb for use on a wheeled loader working in a secondary loading situation. But for those customers willing to spend just a little more, they can purchase the TL538S+ L5 which gives great traction whilst offering a much stronger casing.

Triangle also has a number of top patterns for its articulated dump truck customers, with the TB598S E4 being particularly good value for money. For quarry customers using rigid dump trucks the TB526S offers great traction and long life.

These are just some of the tread patterns Triangle are offering their customers in order to give them top performance at a very competitive cost per hour.
