Trelleborg takes step towards sustainable farming
Trelleborg, took a step further on its journey towards sustainable farming at SIMA 2013 by extending its collaboration with tractor manufacturer, New Holland.
The leading international agri-business show, which took take place in Paris, France, from 24th to 28th February, 2013, saw the New Holland T9 4WD tractor showcased with the Trelleborg giant 2.3 metres complete wheel IF 750/75R46 TM1000 High Power, for the very first time. Designed according to Blue Tire technology, to meet the requirements of the latest generation of ultra high powered tractors, TM1000 High Power is fitted on the Trelleborg THK wheel capable of boosting tractor efficiency and preventing any slippage between tyre and rim.
The New Holland T9 features the advanced SCR ECOBlue technology, which provides high power and productivity, while lowering environmental impact. At the same time, the extra wide footprint area of TM1000 High Power grants great traction and fuel efficiency, optimising working time and reducing emissions. In addition, unrivalled flotation capability reduces significantly the compaction of the soil and the stress on the crops, driving higher farming yields.
