Toyota picks Toyo for Land Cruiser 250

Toyota Motor Corporation has approved Toyo Tires as original equipment for the all new Land Cruiser 250.

The Open Country A/T III tyre has been selected in size 265/70 R18 116H for the latest iteration of the iconic SUV, which is set to launch in Europe later this year.

Since its introduction in the 1950s, the Land Cruiser has continued to evolve while sustaining its signature reliability, durability and off-road performance. The new Land Cruiser 250 has been developed with the aim of improving comfort and ease of handling whether on or off-road.

According to Toyo, the Open Country AT III all-terrain combines design with performance. From the application of Toyo Tires proprietary design base technology ‘T-MODE’ to its tread pattern design, the versatile tyre supports both off-road performance in challenging conditions and quiet, stable handling on-road.
