Toyo to build €390m manufacturing plant in Serbia

Toyo Tire Corporation is set to begin construction of a new €390m “sophisticated smart tyre manufacturing plant” in Indijia, Serbia next May.

Toyo will use the new plant to supply tyres to passenger vehicles and light trucks within and outside the European market

Toyo currently supplies tyres for the European and Russian market from factories in Japan and Malaysia.

Toyo Tire will initiate tyre manufacturing operations in January 2022, with a capacity of five million tyres annually (based on tyres for passenger vehicles) by the summer of 2023.
