Three in a row for Falken at VRÖ-Awards

Falken Tyre Europe has secured first place in the passenger car tyre category of the bi-annual VRÖ-Awards for a third time in a row from the Association of Tyre Specialists, Austria.

Criteria such as customer relations, delivery service, handling of complaints, product quality as well as sales policy and marketing were factors in deciding who would win the prestigious 2017/2018 award.

“This first place in the VRÖ ranking shows, once again, that our tyres are doing very well in the mid-premium segment,” says a delighted Günther Riepl, Senior Sales Director Austria, Swiss and Eastern Europe. “This award not only honours the quality of our tyres, but also the work of Falken’s Austrian sales team. Therefore, I would like to thank the VRÖ for its trust, as well as my team and the colleagues in the field and office for securing this award.”

The VRÖ prize is awarded for both car and truck tyre categories and all VRÖ members are entitled to vote. The award was presented by James Tennant, VRÖ chairman, during the AutoZum exhibition, which was held from January 16-19, 2019 in Salzburg.
