Thieves make off with almost 300 tyres

Thieves made off with almost 300 tyres from the premises of Heffernan Tyres in Kildare Town on Saturday night, June 22.

The break in happened at 10.45pm on Saturday night and thieves driving a white Ford Transit van with a large Luton body made off with 297 tyres in various sizes.

If members of the tyre trade are offered tyres from unusual sources, they are being urged to contact an Garda Siochana.

The following sizes were stolen from Hefferenan Tyres.
