Southside Motors Factors adds new tyre sealant product to range

Southside Motors Factors, winners of the Motor Factor of the Year Awards 2015, at the Irish Auto Trade Awards has added a new tyre sealant kit to its burgeoning product portfolio.

Terra-S tyre sealant as the name suggests, allows motorists to repair most common punctures without the need of removing the tyre from the car.

The Terra-S tyre sealant, easily connects to the tyre. The tyre sealant bottle is then connected to mini-compressor, which quickly inflates the tyre, while pumping in the tyre sealant.

Punctures can be repaired by the roadside, in a fast and timely fashion, allowing the motorist to proceed to the next service station (up to 1,500kms) where a permanent repair can be carried out.

The Terra – S tyre repair kit can be used to repair punctures caused by the likes of screws and nails up to a maximum of 6mm diameter in the tyre tread and tyre shoulder.

Southside Motor Factors says the Terra – S tyre repair kit comes with several benefits: It is quick and simple to use – just two steps, has an extra strong compressor, and eliminates inconvenient tyre changes at the side of the road.

The Terra – S tyre repair kit also has better sealing capability compared to conventional tyre sprays.

Because there is no need to carry a spare tyre, there is more storage space in the boot of the car and a weight saving of approximately 20 kgs, which results in fuel savings, CO2 savings and less environmental pollution.
