Skoda Superb relies on Falken Tyres

Czech automotive and engine manufacturer Skoda, part of the VW Group since 1991, has chosen to rely on Falken’s high selling ECORUN tyres as the OE tyres for its Superb model. Skoda will factory-fit its most popular mid-range car with Falken ZIEX ZE 914 ECORUN tyres as standard, in both 17” and now in 16” sizes.

The third generation of the Skoda Superb, production of which launched in May 2016, is powered by new EU 6 engines for more performance than ever before, coupled with fuel savings of up to 30 per cent. In addition, the Skoda Superb offers outstanding value for money – a characteristic it shares with Falken tyres. But Falken also delivers many more benefits.

Tyre testers from the German magazine auto motor sport gave the Falken ZIEX ZE914 a rating of ‘Recommended’ in its March 2016 issue (No. 7). The tests were held at an Italian handling track and included eight further tyre brands. The testers also praised the ZIEX ZE914 for its “well-balanced performance in wet conditions, with extremely neutral handling and high steering precision” as well as “good ride comfort”.
