Prinx Chengshan unveils its first OTR tyre

Prinx Chengshan unveiled its first Off-The-Road (OTR) tyre for Europe, the Prinx ELD12 in size 29.5R25, marking the company’s strategic entrance into the OTR segment.

Launched last week at Autopromotec Bologna, the debut of the Prinx ELD12 represents the company’s long-term commitment to this highly specialised and competitive market.

“The European market expects excellence — and that is exactly what we are delivering,” said Thomas Wohlgemuth, managing director Europe.

“The ELD12 is the first step in a broader strategy aimed at establishing Prinx as a serious and reliable player in the European OTR market.”

The ELD12 in size 29.5R25 has been engineered for heavy-duty applications in industries such as construction and mining.

According to Prinx, this first product is the result of intensive research, advanced manufacturing, and a clear market-driven strategy, supported by the company’s new production facility in Rongcheng, Shandong, built to the highest environmental and technological standards.

Prinx said it will introduce its OTR products to the European market “through selective partnerships with top-tier distributors”.

In the years to come, the Prinx OTR range will include Giant OTR tyres, covering 49-inch, 57-inch, and 63-inch sizes.
