Pirelli appoints Marrafuschi new head of motorsport

Pirelli has appointed Dario Marrafuschi as head of its motorsport business unit, effective 1st March.

He replaces Mario Isola, who will provide support before leaving Pirelli on 1st July to pursue new professional challenges.

Marrafuschi joined Pirelli in 2008 and has extensive experience in Formula 1 in the research and development area. In recent years he has headed the development of Pirelli’s road products.

Marrafuschi will report to Giovanni Tronchetti Provera, executive vice president of sustainability, new mobility and motorsport.
