Nexen Tire supplying Roadian CTX tyres for Hyundai Staria Electric

Nexen Tire has announced that its Roadian CTX is being supplied as original equipment (OE) for Hyundai Motor Company’s new Staria Electric and Staria Limousine.

The Roadian CTX uses Nexen Tire’s AI-based performance prediction system to optimise ride quality across a wide range of driving conditions.

The tyre delivers consistent performance in all seasons. It combines ride comfort with enhanced durability, while handling and structural strength hold up reliably under high-load and high-torque conditions.

The Roadian CTX will be supplied to both domestic models and export vehicles heading to markets in Europe, Oceania, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.

Nexen Tire says it pursues a “one-tyre” strategy, developing tyres that deliver optimised performance across all powertrains, whether electric, hybrid, or internal combustion. On this basis, the company has supplied OE tyres to key Hyundai models including the Palisade, NEXO, and Ioniq 6, as well as a broad range of vehicles from premium global brands.

In the purpose-built vehicle segment, Nexen Tire has now expanded its supply from the Kia PV5 to include the Hyundai Staria.

“With this OE supply, we have demonstrated that our one-tyre strategy for both electric and internal combustion vehicles works in the real market. We will continue working closely with automakers to deliver tyres optimised for every powertrain,” said a Nexen Tire spokesperson.

Nexen Tire is exclusively distributed in Ireland through Mileage Tyres, who will be exhibiting at the 2026 Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place alongside the CV Workshop EXPO from 10th -11th October at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
