Nexen Tire OE for new Kia EV4

The N’Fera Supreme S all-season tyre from Nexen Tire has been selected as original equipment (OE) for the new Kia EV4, a fully-electric saloon expected in Ireland in early 2026.

Nexen Tire says N’Fera Supreme S was equipped on the EV4 to meet the unique performance demands of electric vehicles, including high torque, low noise, and precise handling.

It was designed to provide a balanced driving experience across various conditions, delivering both ride comfort and braking stability for high-speed and everyday driving.

To ensure long-lasting performance, the tyre included innovative features including a 4D compound and optimised load distribution technology, which enhance grip and stability during high-speed or long-distance travel.

Its pattern retention design helps maintain tread performance even after 50 per cent wear, while the aerodynamic sidewall minimises air resistance to promote energy efficiency.

According to Nexen Tire, the selection of its tyre by Kia underscores the company’s recognised technological capabilities and product quality. Nexen Tire now supplies OE tyres for a number of electric Kia models, including the EV3, EV4, EV6, and EV9.
