Nexen Tire OE for KGM Musso pickup
Nexen Tire is supplying original equipment (OE) tyres for the Musso, KG Mobility’s pickup truck. The supplied models are the N’Priz RH7 and the Roadian HTX RH5, which were designed to meet the diverse on- and off-road driving needs of pickup trucks.
The Musso must simultaneously accommodate heavy payloads and rugged driving conditions. To meet these requirements, Nexen Tire is supplying products engineered to maintain driving stability and structural rigidity even under repeated stress loads and payloads of up to 700kg. These tyres were developed to ensure reliable driving performance across a wide range of road surfaces.
The N’Priz RH7 is being supplied in 18- and 20-inch models, which are suitable for the large-diameter wheels used in higher trims. Featuring four wide circumferential grooves aligned in the direction of travel, the tyre effectively evacuates water in wet conditions to prevent hydroplaning.
In addition, the optimised block design enhances driving stability while providing a good balance between noise and fuel efficiency. The N’Priz RH7 has previously been supplied for the Rexton Sports and Rexton Sports Khan.
The Roadian HTX RH5 being supplied is 17-inches, which is suitable for the wheel specifications of base trims. Designed with real-world usage in mind, including carrying loads and driving long distances, it employs an optimised pattern to balance ride comfort with mileage.
The widened shoulder and sidewall design improves heat dissipation and durability, while the optimised grooves and three-dimensional cross-section structures ensure a suitable driving performance.
Supplying OE tyres for the Musso is part of Nexen Tire’s broader strategy of expanding its presence in the large SUV and pickup truck segments. The company now supplies OE tyres for a wide range of pickup trucks and SUVs, including the Musso, Kia Tasman, Jeep Wrangler, and Jeep Gladiator, and offers dedicated SUV and pickup truck products such as the Roadian HTX and Roadian ATX in its global markets.
