Kumho to showcase truck tyres at Solutrans

Kumho Tyre is showcasing its wide range of truck tyres at Solutrans 2015 in Lyon, France.

One of the highlights of the Korean tyre maker’s impressive display is the KXS10, a new versatile Multimax steer tyre suitable for both regional and long distance operations in all-season use.

The X in the product description KXS10 denotes the multi-purpose application of the new tyre. Mainly developed for regional use, the tyre can also be used in long-haul transport. Featuring both the snowflake symbol (3PMSF) and M+S marking, it is a genuine all-season product that will provide safe driving in both wet and wintry conditions.

The newcomer also offers an extended mileage capability thanks to its notably wide tread and shoulder design, while a special tread compound results in improved handling. Taking everything into consideration, KXS10 offers savings of up to 15 per cent when compared with its predecessor.

In addition to the KXS10, Kumho has several more exciting products on display at Solutrans 2015. These include:

·        KLS03 – a fuel efficient, long-haul radial for highway steer axle service
·        KLD03 – a fuel efficient, long-haul radial for drive axle service

·        KFD04 – with extra-deep tread for on & off road service on drive axles

·        KMA11 – with variable groove angle for increased durability throughout its service life

More than 37,000 trade visitors are expected at the 13th session of SOLUTRANS in Lyon, France, November 17-21. Kumho Tyre is exhibiting the first time at the biennial trade fair.
