Kirkby Tyres to distribute Bridgestone agri tyres in Britain

Bridgestone has announced an enhanced route to market for its agricultural tyre range in Britain, after entering into a new partnership with wholesaler, Kirkby Tyres.

Operating from a 20-acre central site in Liverpool, Kirkby Tyres will stock and supply the full Bridgestone and Firestone agricultural product line-ups, ensuring faster deliveries.

Bridgestone told TyreTrade.ie that the deal does not impact its Northern Ireland operations, with distribution of its agricultural tyres continuing to come from the manufacturer’s Balbriggan warehouse in Dublin.

Kirkby Tyres commercial director, Michael Rosenthal said partnering with Bridgestone “allows us to offer customers access to a historic premium brand and a complete agricultural tyre portfolio”.

“By combining Bridgestone’s high-performance agriculture tyres with our distribution expertise, we can help farmers reduce downtime and keep machines working when it matters most,” he added.

The wholesaler will stock Bridgestone’s VT-Tractor, VX-Tractor, the new to market VH-IND and VX-R Tractor ranges, alongside Firestone agricultural tyres.

David Almazan, head of UK region and commercial business unit director at Bridgestone, said the partnership is “about putting farmers, our dealer network and contractors first”.

“By working closely with Kirkby Tyres, we can ensure a more efficient access to our Bridgestone agriculture products, backed by genuine expertise,” he said.
