ITIA Regional meetings Nationwide

The ITIA is holding 10 regional meetings nationwide in the coming weeks.

The meetings will highlight the ITIA’s current drive for licensing and all are welcome to attend, both members and non members.

All members are asked to support the meeting in their region by bringing along a non member with them on the night. ITIA President, Kevin Farrell will outline the Association’s new licence initiative where members who have accredited staff and comply to the other licence stipulations, will be issued with a licence to fit tyres.

“We are working to bring more of the legitimate trade into the association. This will give us an even stronger voice for lobbying government to tackle the black economy and the lack of regulation in our industry.  We are making progress with government departments, so now is the time to strengthen our message and capitalise on the forward momentum created.”

The first meeting takes place in the Clarion Hotel, Cork on Tuesday, April 16.

Two further regional meetings are scheduled for next week, in the Park Inn Hotel, Clonmel on Wednesday night and the Riverside Park, Enniscorthy on Thursday April 18th.

The following week regional meetings will be held in Killarney, on Tuesday night, Limerick on Wednesday night and Galway on Thursday night at venues to be confirmed.
