For the constantly competitive market in Ireland, SDI is currently showcasing its increasingly popular Toledo range which are tested and approved to EC 1222/2009 in wet grip, rolling resistance and external noise and incorporate design engineering from Europe using the very latest technological advancements.
The Toledo high performance range consists of three equally impressive patterns – the TL 1000, TL 3000 and TL 5000 covering over 200 size options with more sizes to be introduced in due course.
The TL 1000 tyre offers an advanced asymmetrical tread design to ensure outstanding handling and cornering response and impressive levels of durability. Whilst a special tread compound with a multi-pitch tread block provides low noise and high traction levels on both wet and dry road conditions plus a continuous three centre rib with optimal block distribution further improves directional driving stability at high speed.
The Toledo TL 3000 has been specifically designed for both city and long distance driving and incorporates superior long mileage and a high level of all-season grip whilst other benefits include low noise levels, exceptional cornering and handling. Also four straight wide grooves guarantee excellent water drainage and hydroplaning performance.
Finally the Toledo TL 5000 has a compact shoulder design that effectively improves stability in the shoulder area of the tyre plus special optimized sipes on the middle of the tread ensure additional grip capability and impressive braking performance. A unique tread compound also reduces fuel consumption and increases mileage return.
Six new RFT sizes will be introduced during the course of this year plus the Blue Snow and Eco Snow winter patterns were launched for the last winter season.
SDI has recently appointed Renew Tyres in Co. Wicklow as its exclusive distributor for the Toledo range of tyres in the Leinster region as part of its current expansion plans in Ireland for the brand.
