GRI partners Provana Group for agri tyre testing

Sri Lanka-based GRI Tires has entered a strategic partnership with Italian agricultural consultancy Provana Group, for comprehensive field testing of its agriculture tyre range.

GRI’s agriculture tyres underwent extensive testing led by Provana Group, focusing on critical performance metrics such as traction, fuel consumption, slippage, self-cleaning, soil compaction, and rolling circumference in both laboratory and field environments.

According to GRI, the results confirm that the company “has not only met expectations but exceeded industry benchmarks across multiple parameters”.

“This collaboration with Provana Group has been instrumental in validating the strength and superior performance of our tyres,” said Barry Guildford, global commercial director at GRI. “The findings clearly demonstrate that GRI’s Agriculture Tires deliver measurable advantages in the field—outperforming standard industry offerings in efficiency, durability, and environmental impact.”

“We are impressed with the results achieved by GRI Tires,” said Daniele Provana, CEO of Provana Group. “In all the key testing categories, GRI’s products demonstrated a level of performance that positions them among the top in the industry. This partnership showcases what’s possible when technical precision meets manufacturing excellence.”

GRI said the success of this collaboration further positions it as a global leader in speciality tyres and “reinforces its commitment to empowering the next generation of farmers through innovation and sustainability”.

For the Agriculture segment, GRI products are distributed by Heffernan Tyres in the Republic of Ireland and A&J Long Bros in Northern Ireland.
