Goodyear tyres OE for new Jeep Avenger

A range of Goodyear tyres have been selected as original equipment (OE) fitments by Jeep for the all-new Avenger, which is the first Jeep vehicle to come in an all-electric version.

The approved fitments include tyres from Goodyear’s summer and all-season ranges, to complement the vehicle’s advanced capabilities.

The range of tyres selected as OE for the Jeep Avenger include the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3, EfficientGrip Performance 2, and EfficientGrip 2 SUV models.

According to Goodyear, these tyre models showcase innovative technology which not only help to reduce noise emissions but also optimise rolling resistance, increasing their sustainability, and making them an excellent choice for electric vehicles.

With tyre sizes that cover up the Avenger’s production range, Goodyear claims to provide an exceptional fit for the capabilities of this vehicle.

From Goodyear’s all-season range, the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 has been recognised for its excellent performance in wet conditions, whilst also offering benefits such as shorter dry braking and improved dry handling, making it suitable for use all year round in both dry and wet conditions.

The Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 and EfficientGrip 2 SUV are both summer tyres which feature a flexible tread that helps to reduce fractures caused by rough road surfaces, resulting in excellent durability.

Additionally, the Efficient Grip Performance 2 offers at least 20 per cent more mileage than the next best-tested competitor, resulting in a longer life for the tyre, according to Goodyear.
