Geomax MX52 To Get Swedish Workout With Dunlop MXGP Riders
After an eventful FIM Motocross World Championship German Grand Prix less than two weeks ago, where two Dunlop riders stepped onto the podium, Dunlop is hoping to achieve the same feat in the main event. Last time out Team HRC’s Max Nagl took a very convincing MXGP moto win, ultimately taking second after losing out at the start of the second race while Kiara Fontanesi took a win and a second in WMX.
In Sweden this weekend, Dunlop’s hopes are with Nagl and Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing’s Steven Frossard who had a strong first moto in Germany but retired in the second. If both riders can get the strong finishes they are capable of in both races a double podium is a distinct possibility. Honda’s Evgeny Bobryshev and Kawasaki’s Gautier Paulin are both currently side-lined due to injury,
The hard terrain Uddevalla track is ideal for the medium to hard Geomax MX52 tyre for both front and rear. The MX52 prototype for front and rear was Paulin’s choice last year when he won the Bulgarian Grand Prix.
