Cooper boosts Rally Day presence

Cooper Tire Europe will increase its presence at the 2013 Rally Day event, at Castle Combe circuit in Wiltshire with its 4×4 zone now offering visitors an unforgettable 4×4 experience.

The new-for-2013 experience is designed for true off-road driving thrill-seekers, as visitors will have the chance to get strapped into one of DriveTech’s 4×4 machines for the ride of a lifetime.

Located within the Cooper Tire 4×4 Zone, the experience swaps speed for sheer inclines and drops, mud, water and much more as the Cooper rubber is put through its paces in a demanding off-road course.

Also present in the 4×4 Zone throughout the day will be two-time Dakar Rally Production Class Champion, Xavi Foj, who ran Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX rubber en route to Dakar glory. The Spaniard will be on-hand to speak with guests and share stories from his adventures.

The tyre manufacturer, which is famed for its extensive off-road range, last year agreed a three-year partnership with the event, run annually at Castle Combe circuit in Wiltshire. This year’s Rally Day event will be held on Saturday, September 21.
