ContiSportContact 5 tops tyre test

Continental’s ContiSportContact 5 tyre lift has cme out on top in the AutoBild sportscars summer tyre test (edition 4/13) and received the coveted “exemplary” title.

The journalists placed particular emphasis on the “exemplary handling properties on wet and dry roads”, the “perfect steering precision” and the “superb safety reserves for aquaplaning”. The tire model tested was developed for sports vehicles from the compact class upwards, and the journalists’ test car was a Mini Coupé John Cooper Works. The size of the test tires was 225/35 ZR 18.

The ContiSportContact 5 is designed  for sports cars from the compact class upwards. Continental offers the sports tyre in diameters of between 17″ and 18″, cross-sections of 50 to 35 per cent and approved for speeds of up to 300 km/h.
