Continental delivers tyre training sessions in Ireland

Steve Howat, general manager – technical services at Continental Tyres last week visited Ireland to deliver two evening tyre training sessions at Wexford Bus and Nenagh Tyres.

Both sessions focused on wheel security, covering best practice, common causes of wheel-related issues, and practical steps to improve safety and compliance.

With roadside incidents continuing to be a key concern for fleets, Howat said reinforcing correct procedures and awareness remains essential.

At Nenagh Tyres, the session also included additional guidance on roadside safety and truck product training, giving attendees a broader understanding of both operational risk and product performance.
