Continental has taken a major step forward in test technology for passenger car, van, and 4×4 summer and winter tyres, with new cutting edge technology at the Contidrom test track near Hanover.
Continental has expanded its range of trailer tyres. The Hanover-based tyre manufacturer now also supplies the proven HTR 2 trailer tyre for demanding road usage on regional routes in the size 425/65 R 22.5.
Continental is introducing a 385/65 R 22.5 version of the Generation 2+ steer axle tyre to its product range. The advanced HSL 2+ front axle tyre is now available in a total of 11 different sizes.

The new ContiWinterContact TS 850 for the compact and mid-range cars has triumphed over 41 other winter tyress to be crowned winner of the AutoBild winter tyre test.

The new ContiWinterContact TS 850 for mid-range vehicles was awarded the highest grade (“good”) and ranked first in a winter tyre test organised by a leading German consumer organisation, Stiftung Warentest. The ContiWinterContact TS 800 – a specialist for minis and compacts – was also given a “good” rating in the same test.
Continental’s tyres have passed a common winter tyre test conducted by Germany’s ADAC, Austria’s ÖAMTC, and Switzerland’s TCS motoring organisations with flying colours.
